This lovely Ferndale vacation rental is furnished with antiques
throughout. The house provides every modern amenity, with a new gas-fired forced
air heating system, as well as a wood stove in the family room and a fireplace in the
front parlor to add to the ambience. There is also a family room with TV, VCR, DVD
and stereo system, and a well-stocked library. We welcome your pets.
The master bedroom and one bathroom are on the ground floor, with a newly
remodeled bathroom and three bedrooms upstairs. For those extra guests, there is a
queen pull-out bed in the family room.
Enjoy the comfort of a 3000 square foot, Victorian farmhouse
on the edge of the Victorian village of Ferndale, in beautiful northern
California. The setting of the farmhouse is unrivalled, surrounded by gentle
farmland which can be viewed from living areas and bedrooms. Still within
the city limits, but close to all the amenities of Ferndale, the house provides a
peaceful, tranquil environment to escape the stresses of modern life.

As lovely as the interior of the house is, the serenely beautiful setting is unique,
located on the edge of town surrounded by gentle farmland. Quietly beautiful, the
land invited the owner to develop the gardens adjacent to the house. In the English
garden style, the lush plantings are designed to enhance the house, and, at the
same time, attract wildlife and provide privacy. The expansive back yard is
securely fenced for dogs and offers ample space for play or gatherings.
The village of Ferndale must be unique in the variety of activities it offers,
from the wild and crazy Kinetic Sculpture Race to the County Fair held at the
